Webb Simpson (+2500)

One of the many past U.S. Open and major champs in the field, Simpson has also won twice in 2020 with four other top-10 finishes in just 12 events. His 2012 victory at the Olympic Club came with a winning score of plus-1, and he was the only member of the final top 10 to break par in both weekend rounds in a come-from-behind win.

He’s first on the PGA Tour this year in Bogey Avoidance, seventh in 3-Putt Avoidance, sixth in Strokes Gained: Approach and T-16 in SG: Tee-to-Green. He tied for 10th in the 2018 U.S. Open and finished T-16 last year at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Men's Us Open Odds

Martin Kaymer (+10000)

The 2014 U.S. Open champion at Pinehurst No. 2 won by eight strokes with no other player finishing better than minus-1. He hasn’t won a PGA Tour event since, but he has moved up from 126th in the Official World Golf Ranking to 88th entering this week.

He has four top 10s in nine European Tour events in 2020. His odds would be much lower if those results had come in North America.

2020 U.S. Open Betting Picks – Long shot

Sergio Garcia (+12500)

This is an absurd price for the 2017 Masters champion. He has just five top-10 finishes in 20 career appearances at the U.S. Open, but he was T-5 as recently as 2016 when Johnson won at minus-4 by three strokes over a trio of runners-up. Garcia has three top 10s in 12 international events in 2020 but two of those were on the European circuit.

Odds

He’s fourth on Tour through 32 measured rounds in SG: Tee-to-Green.

Jun 7, 2019; Paris, France: Ashleigh Barty (AUS) celebrates recording match point during her match against Amanda Anisimova (USA) on day 13 of the 2019 French Open at Stade Roland Garros.

Defending champion Rafael Nadal and five-time champ Roger Federer won't participate when the 2020 U.S. Open starts Monday from Flushing Meadows, N.Y. But that doesn't mean it will be easy for Novak Djokovic, the world's top-ranked player and a three-time U.S. Open winner himself. Djokovic recently dealt with pain in his neck, causing him to pull out of doubles last Sunday at the Western & Southern Open, the tournament that served as a U.S. Open warm-up at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Djokovic remains the -125 favorite (risk $125 to win $100) in the latest 2020 U.S. Open odds from William Hill, followed by Daniil Medvedev (6-1), Stefanos Tsitsipas (7-1), Dominic Thiem (7-1), Milos Raonic (20-1), Alexander Zverev (25-1) and Roberto Bautista Agut (25-1). Before you make any 2020 U.S. Open picks or tennis predictions, see what renowned tennis handicapper Sean Calvert has to say.

Calvert is the famed handicapper who took down a huge score on Dominic Thiem winning Indian Wells at 80-1 last year. He's racked up seven straight profitable seasons betting tennis.

At Wimbledon last year, Calvert told his followers to grab 3-1 odds on Djokovic facing Federer in the final, adding Djokovic would win it all. The result: Djokovic and Federer cruised into the finals, with Djokovic winning the longest men's singles final in tournament history for his fifth Wimbledon crown. Anyone who followed Calvert's advice was handsomely rewarded.

Now, Calvert has broken down the latest U.S. Open 2020 odds and released his coveted best bets to win it all. Head to SportsLine to see them.

Us Open Men's Final Odds

For the U.S. Open 2020, we can tell you Calvert is fading Thiem in a big way. The 26-year-old Austrian prefers slower courts than the new surface in New York. That was evident last Monday in Thiem's dismal straight-sets loss to Filip Krajinovic. The world's No. 3 player fell to 9-4 this calendar year.

Although Thiem enters the U.S. Open 2020 as the highest-ranked player besides Djokovic, Calvert says there are far better values than the 7-1 odds Thiem is getting.
